I’ll be in #Chandler this weekend for a swim meet and would love some recommendations on places to eat and feed hungry swimmers! 🏊🏼‍♂️ The meet is taking place at the Chandler high school and will stay a couple nights at the Crowne Plaza. I know one place nearby is @jinyaramenbar that has delicious Ramen, and any other ideas you may have would be appreciated!

Started by Yotaka Promtun-Martin and husband Alex Martin, they moved from hosting pop-up dinners in their home to preparing gorgeous meals—many of which have been passed down for generations in Yotaka’s family—in this charming historic building on Portland Street. Cocktails are killer, served by Thunder @ththunder and the food is nothing short of spectacular. Try the green mango salad with hand torn shrimp, the charcoal beef smashed with a hammer, green papaya with grilled chicken thigh, and don’t miss out on dessert: crème brûlées and their take on mango sticky rice.

The Arizona Taco Festival will be back November 12-13 at a new location: Bell Bank Park in Mesa! 🌮 I attended a pop up taco event at @mercbaraz and sampled some outstanding tacos by Aaron May, Antonia Lofaso, and Todd English and washed it down with some tasty margaritas made with locally owned @tequilacorrido .
