Nutella Pancake Breakfast Board

Ingredients
  

For the Pancakes

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tsps baking powder
  • 1.5 tsps baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups buttermilk, at room temperature
  • 3 eggs room temperature
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the Platter

  • bacon, cooked
  • fresh fruit (such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas)
  • Nutella, for serving

Instructions
 

For the Pancakes

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    In a separate bowl, beat together buttermilk, eggs, and butter.
    Fold the "wet" mixture into the "dry" mixture until just combined. The batter should be clumpy.
    Onto a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan set to medium high heat, scoop approximately 1/2 cup of batter to form a pancake. When bubbles appear on the surface, flip over and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter. Makes 12-15 pancakes.

For the Platter

  • Arrange pancakes on a serving board to create a breakfast board. Add bacon, fresh fruit, and Nutella.
